Cari amici, cari musicisti,
Sono lieto di presentarvi la II° edizione del  “Mediterraneo Jazz Festival” Isola d’Elba contest. 
Innanzitutto desidero ringraziare tutti voi, concorrenti ed appassionati, per la calorosa ed entusiasta partecipazione all’edizione 2009, che ci ha consentito di realizzare un Festival ricco di iniziative di qualità ed estremamente apprezzato da pubblico e stampa di settore.
Con queste premesse, stiamo preparando con grande entusiasmo l’edizione 2010  il cui svolgimento è previsto per le date:

dal 24 giugno al 04 luglio 2010

e alle cui selezioni, ciascun giovane musicista desideroso di presentare un suo progetto, è fin da ora il benvenuto.

 Vi ricordo che la partecipazione è interamente gratuita.

Come per lo scorso anno, sono orgoglioso di confermarvi l'opportunità straordinaria di un soggiorno totalmente gratuito per tutti coloro che, vinta la preselezione ed invitati a partecipare al Contest, desidereranno trattenersi per l'intera durata della Manifestazione, suonando ogni sera in una location diversa dell’Isola.
Questo, regalerà ai fortunati selezionati, una bellissima vacanza in un posto unico al mondo per ospitalità e bellezza.

 Ma il vero straordinario vantaggio sarà di potersi esibire in più concerti, creando contatti, opportunità di collaborazione ma, soprattutto, approfondendo conoscenze ed esperienze con altri musicisti internazionali provenienti dai più svariati paesi del Mediterraneo e godendo della visibilità offerta dal pubblico di un'intera isola!

Sono certo che, come già dimostrato dalla passata edizione, sarete in molti a cogliere questa straordinaria occasione per farvi conoscere grazie al palcoscenico di una prestigiosa Rassegna di qualità. Vi aspetto numerosi e, come sempre, entusiasti.

Dear friends and musicians,
I am pleased to present the Second Edition of the “Mediterranean Jazz Festival” contest to you on the Island of Elba.
Above all, I would like to thank everybody, competitors and music lovers, for the warm, enthusiastic participation in the 2009 Edition that allowed us to achieve a Festival that was rich in the quality of its performers and much appreciated by the public and specialised press.
Having said this, we are preparing enthusiastically for the 2010 Edition which is planned to take place on the following dates:

from the 24th of June to the 4th of July

For the selection of the candidates, each young musician who would like to present his musical project is welcome to so do from now on.
I would like to remind you that participation is completely free of charge.

As last year, I am proud to confirm the extraordinary opportunity given to those who win through the preliminary selection and thus invited to perform in the Contest, of free accommodation for the whole duration of the contest and the opportunity to perform each evening in a different part of the island.
Therefore, for those fortunate enough to pass the preliminary stages, there will be a wonderful holiday on an island unique in the world for its beauty, charm and hospitality.

But the real advantage will be the opportunity of performing in different locations, creating new contacts and, more than anything, building up new friendships and experiences with other international musicians that come from all over the countries around the Mediterranean. There is also the chance to perform in front of the public of an entire island!

I am sure that, as shown in the last edition, there will be many of you who will be happy to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity of making yourselves known, thanks to the particularly prestigious setting of the exhibition. I look forward to seeing you all, numerous and enthusiastic.
